CHESAPEAKE, Va. - The Chesapeake Crime Line held its annual golf tournament fundraiser Monday.

It took place at Greenbrier Country Club on Volvo Pkwy.

The non-profit is operated by a group of volunteer citizens.

They rely entirely on this event and donations to raise money, which is then given out as rewards to people who call in tips about crimes to their 1-888-LOCK-U-UP number.

Last year the Chesapeake Crime Line received 673 tips, leading to 73 arrests.  They paid out $14,000 to people who called in those tips.
