Bruce Springsteen extends summer tour, adds a stop in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band announced Monday that they have extended their 2016 summer tour and added eight new dates in August and September — including a stop in Virginia Beach!

The River Tour 2016 started in January and previously had 36 dates North America that grossed over $79 million with over 580,000 ticket sales.

The band’s European leg of the tour starts in Barcelona on May 14.

The eight additional dates are mainly on the East Coast, with the exception of a stop in Chicago.

Tickets go on sale for the Virginia Beach and Washington D.C. shows May 13 at 10 a.m.
