CHESAPEAKE ROAD WORK:
South Battlefield Blvd between Northwest River Water Treatment Plant and Gallbush Rd through Friday, May 13 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. Public Utilities work will close a single lane on South Battlefield Blvd between the Northwest River Water Treatment Plant and Gallbush Rd this week. Flaggers will guide both directions of traffic through the open lane.
Waters Rd at Cranham Rd closed through Friday, May 13. Crews are installing a gravity sewer line. A detour is marked.
The Gilmerton will have an extended opening everyday Monday through Thursday at 1:00 PM through May 26th and again on June 6th through 9th, expect 20 minute delays.

VIRGINIA BEACH ROAD WORK:
- *****Elbow Rd closed to all traffic, the closure will last for five months until September 1st, 2016. The detour will be in place via Centerville Turnpike to Kempsville Rd to Indian River Rd and vise versa. ******
- Lynnhaven Parkway closed from Albright Dr to Dalrymple St. The closure is part of the Lynnhaven Parkway project that is ongoing through the Kempsville section of the city. A detour will be in place and will vary as construction progresses. Access to the neighborhood maintained at all times. The closures will be in place through September 2016.

- I-64 Widening Project, Newport News/York County: Single-lane closures eastbound and westbound May 15-19 as early as 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning. - I-64 Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel: Alternating closures eastbound and westbound. One lane will remain open at all times:
- Westbound May 16-19 from 9 p.m. until as late as 4:30 a.m. the following morning.
- I-664 Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge-Tunnel: Alternating lane closures as follows. One lane will remain open at all times:
- Northbound May 15 from 8 p.m. until as late as 5 a.m. the following morning.
- Southbound May 16-19 from 8 p.m. until as late as 5 a.m. the following morning.
- Northbound/Southbound May 17-19 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
- US-17 James River Bridge, Isle of Wight County: Daytime single-lane closures northbound and southbound May 16-19 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. One lane will remain open to traffic at all times.
- I-64 High Rise Bridge: Alternating lane closures as follows. One lane will remain open at all times:
- Eastbound and Westbound May 15 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning.
- Eastbound May 16 from 8 p.m. until as late as 5 a.m. the following morning.
- I-264 Berkley Bridge, Norfolk: Night-time and daytime single-lane closures as follows. One lane will remain open at all times:
- Westbound May 16-19 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning.
- Westbound May 17 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
- I-64 HOV Reversible Roadway, Norfolk: The Reversible Roadway will be closed as follows. The ramps at the I-264 flyover and I-564 will remain open:
- May 16-18 from 9 p.m. until 4 a.m. the following morning.
- May 17-18 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
- May 18 from 11 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
- May 20 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
- I-564 Eastbound/Westbound, Norfolk: Daytime and night-time single-lane closures as follows. One lane will remain open at all times:
- Eastbound May 15-19 from 7 p.m. until 4 a.m. the following morning between Norfolk Naval Station Gates 3A & 3 and I-64 West/Granby Street.
- Westbound May 19 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the I-564 Runway Tunnel.
- VA-164 (West Norfolk Bridge), Portsmouth: Alternating lane closures as follows. One lane will remain open to traffic at all times.
- Eastbound/Westbound May 15-19 from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning.
- I-95 Southbound, Greensville/Emporia: Consecutive single-lane closures southbound as follows. One lane will remain open at all times:
- Southbound May 15-19 from 6:30 p.m. until 5.pm. the following morning between Exit 13 and 11 at the Greensville County and Town of Emporia Line.
- I-64 West off-ramp to Indian River Road, Virginia Beach: The I-64 West off-ramp to Indian River Road will be close nightly May 16-19 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning. A detour will be in place.
- I-64 Eastbound/Westbound, Norfolk: Night-time alternating lane closures eastbound and westbound as follows between Chesapeake Avenue and Tidewater Drive. One lane will remain open to traffic at all times:
- Eastbound May 14 from 6 p.m. until as late as 11 a.m. the following morning.
- Westbound May 15 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
- Eastbound/Westbound May 15-19 from 8 p.m. until as late as 9 a.m. the following morning
- I-64 Eastbound/Westbound, Norfolk: Night-time alternating lane closures eastbound and westbound as follows between Northampton Boulevard and Military Highway. One lane will remain open to traffic at all times:

- I-64 Eastbound, York County: Single-lane closures westbound May 16-19 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning between Camp Peary and Lightfoot. One lane will remain open at all times.
- I-64 Eastbound, York County: Alternating lane closures westbound May 15-19 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning between Camp Peary and the New Kent County Line. One lane will remain open at all times.
- VA-199 over College Creek Eastbound/Westbound, York County: Alternating lane closures as follows. One lane will remain open to traffic at all times.
- Eastbound/Westbound May 15-19 from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning.
- Route 301 Northbound, Greensville County: Left-lane consecutive closure on Route 301 northbound May 2-26. The right lane will remain open at all times.
- Route 680 over Stallings Creek, Isle of Wight County: Full consecutive closure on Route 680 over Stallings Creek for bridge replacement May 16 through June 2017. The right lane will remain open at all times.
- George Washington Memorial Highway (Route 17), York County: Crews are widening the road between Route 630 (Wolf Trap Road) and Route 706 (Hampton Highway). Daytime single-lane closures, from 9 a.m.to 3 p.m. and weeknight single-lane closures, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Expect traffic shifts and delays. DOWNTOWN / MIDTOWN TUNNELS:
I-264 East: Full tunnel closure Friday, May 20 from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning.
I-464 North/I-264 West: Full ramp closure Monday through Thursday, May 16-19 from 8 p.m. each night until 5 a.m. the following morning.
I-264 East/I-464 South: Full ramp closure Sunday through Thursday, May 16-19 from 8 p.m. each night until 5 a.m. the following morning.
U.S. 58 East/West: Intermittent stoppages Sunday, May 15 from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m.
U.S. 58 West: Full directional closure Monday through Friday, May 16-20 from 8 p.m. each night until 5 a.m. the following morning. Midtown Tunnel eastbound remains open. Brambleton Avenue ramp to Midtown Tunnel will also be closed during the this time period.
Hampton Boulevard/Brambleton Avenue: Ramp single lane closure continues through Friday, May 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
U.S. 58 West: Single lane closure just after Redgate Avenue until before the Midtown Tunnel entrance continues through Friday, May 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
I-264 East/West: Single lane closure in each direction between the Downtown Tunnel and Frederick Boulevard Monday through Thursday, May 16-19 from 9 p.m. each night until 5 a.m. the following morning.
