The storms move out and the sunshine moves in….The cold front that brought scattered rain and thunderstorms to parts of the area Saturday will settle offshore, allowing for high pressure to move in. That weather setup will deliver a lot of sunshine on Sunday. A few high clouds are possible from time to time, but most areas should remain dry. High temperatures won’t be quite as warm though. We’ll see highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s by Sunday afternoon.
We’ll begin the work week dry. In fact, on Monday, we’re expecting mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Then, grab your umbrella. A slow moving cold front will move in from the west starting Tuesday, giving way to showers and thunderstorms. Much of the same is expected Wednesday. Some lingering rain is possible early Thursday before we dry out. Highs will be in the low 70s for most of the work week.
