Phyllis F. Askew, 57, was last seen Thursday at her home in the 1700 block of Richmond Ave.

Police say they are concerned for her well being because she suffers from a medical condition requiring medication, which she does not have with her.

Askew is described as a black female with brown eyes and afro style hair that was just dyed blonde.  She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a pink sweater with a white t-shirt underneath and was carrying a walking cane.

Anyone with information about Askew is asked to call the Portsmouth Police Department at 757-393-5300 or the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP℠.
