Suspects sought for shooting on N. Armistead Avenue in Hampton

HAMPTON, Va. – One person was shot in the 2700 block of North Armistead Avenue on Monday afternoon.

Hampton Police were called to the scene around 1:30 p.m.

The investigation revealed that the victim, a 30-year-old Hampton man, was sitting in his vehicle when he was approached by two unknown men who pulled out guns and began shooting at the victim.

The victim fled the area and wen to the Langley Air Force Base West Gate to seek aid.

He was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The suspects were spotted heading southbound on N. Armistead Avenue.

Surveillance images captured pictures of them while inside a store.

One of the suspects is described as a black male, dark-skin tone, approximately 5’7-5’9, 18-20 years of age with short dreadlocks, last seen wearing a white t-shirt, light blue jean shorts, a ball cap, and a back pack.

The other suspect is described as a black male, dark-skin tone, approximately 5’7-5’9, 18-20 years of age, heavy set, last seen wearing a dark shirt and white shorts.
