VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – An investigation into a woman accused of murdering her boyfriend for money is jumping state lines.

NewsChannel 3 first brought you the story of Debbie Siers-Hill, the woman who was living with Fred Brooks when he was pulled out of his home off Cape Arbor Drive unconscious.

Brooks died a day later in the hospital, and his death sparked a criminal investigation.

NewsChannel 3 has now learned that the criminal investigation in Virginia Beach has lead authorities to Summerville, South Carolina and Wood County, West Virginia.
