HAMPTON, Va. – Police need your help identifying two men in connection with a shooting that happened on May 16.
On May 16 at 12:42 p.m., police received multiple calls regarding a shooting that happened in the Tide Mill Shopping Center in the 2700 block of North Armistead Avenue.
Police say the victim, a 30-year-old man, was sitting in his car when he was approached by two unknown men who pulled out guns and started shooting at him.
The victim drove to Langley Air Force Base West Gate to get help.
He was taken to a local hospital for treatment and is expected to be okay.
The suspects were last seen headed southbound on North Armistead Avenue.
The first suspect is described as a black male, dark-skin tone, approximately 5’7-5’9, 18-20 years of age with short dreadlocks. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, light blue jean shorts, a ball cap and a backpack.
The second suspect has been identified as DeMichael Jabree Peeples. Peeples was last seen wearing a dark shirt and white shorts.
