NORFOLK, Va. – Some Norfolk drivers encountered a huge backup during their evening commute on Wednesday due to a multi-vehicle crash.
There were two separate crashes near mile marker 275.5 before Bay Avenue and mile marker 274 before 4th View.
A NewsChannel 3 viewer said one car was flipped over.
A detour was put in place at Little Creed Road but has since been lifted.
Even after the accident was cleared, there was still a heavy traffic flow.
According to dispatch, some of the people involved in the crash are injured.
