VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Bullets pierced through two condos in Virginia Beach Thursday evening.

Police received a call about shots fired in the 3200 block of Green Lake Drive at 10:20 p.m.

A man told NewsChannel 3 he tried to break up a fight and then had a gun pulled on him.

The man, who did not want to be identified, showed NewsChannel 3 a bullet hole inside of his condo.

The victim said he went outside to break up a fight among teenagers when an adult who was hanging out with the crowd pulled the gun on him and threatened him.

According to the victim, the man handed the gun to one of the teens and punched the victim in the face. Then, as the victim walking back to his house, someone fired bullets at him.

The victim says he's not upset with the teens that were fighting, but mad at the man who he said fired the shots.

"Kids don't know better. They need guidance, they need to be led," he said. "I want to find a solution for the kids to get them off the streets like this, something constructive for them to do and positive role models."

Meanwhile, the neighborhood was in panic mode.

"I heard multiple gunshots so I told my sons, twin boys, they're 18, I told them to get away from the windows because it was several shots. I lost count," said resident Estusei Matthews Stewart.

Neighbors said cars were racing out of the neighborhood.

"They were flying through here like they were on the highway, that's how fast they were going," said Stewart.

No one was hurt but people are concerned.

"There's so much violence going on and so many people getting hurt and it's ridiculous, it's sad," said Stewart.

Police have not released any suspect information and no one has been arrested for the shooting.
