VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Thousands of people packed the Virginia Beach Convention Center for the Tidewater Comicon Saturday and Sunday.
In addition to hundreds of artists and exhibitors, the convention also featured several celebrity guests, including Ernie Hudson (Ghostbusters) and Sam Jones (Flash Gordon).
WGNT is a proud media sponsor of the Tidewater Comicon and hosted a panel on Saturday afternoon called “Live Tweeting: Entertainment In Digital World.” It examined how live-tweeting has impacted the popularity of TV shows and films. The panel featured Blogger/Virginia Beach native Jamie Broadnax, Writer Tai Gooden, Writer Lori Hendricks, and Blogger/cosplayer Jessica Green aka "Butterfly Samurai".
