VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – A club in Virginia Beach is once again being accused of discriminating against certain guests.
Danielle Greer spoke to NewsChannel 3 saying she and her friends attempted to go to Venue 112 on Saturday night but were denied entry when the bouncer saw that they were bringing in three friends who were African American.
Greer, a white woman, said she refuses to ever go to the club again because of the treatment her friends received. Although the bouncer was going to let Greer in, she assumed the only reason was because she was white.
These allegations come about one year after rapper Pusha T tweeted that the club was racist towards him.
After that tweet circulated the owner apologized on Facebook saying the club does not discriminate against race, religion or sexual orientation. The club previously said it has a door policy, and sometimes operate on a ‘guest only’ list.
We have reached out to the owner for a comment but have not heard back from him.
