ISLE OF WIGHT Co., Va. - Days after police searched the home of Isle of Wight County Pastor and Franklin Director of Social Services Christopher Alan Hogge, the search warrants have been filed.
According to the documents obtained by News 3, police searched Hogge's home on Monday morning. They also searched Battery Park Baptist Church, which is connected to Hogge's home and where he is the pastor.
The search warrants say authorities looked through both buildings for a series of electronic devices, as well as journals documenting contact with juveniles, and material with printed images of juveniles in the nude or sexual in nature.
The documents list 151 items taken from Hogge's home. Some of the items seized included 109 CDs/DVDs, seven laptop computers, seven cell phones, three hard drives, two VHS tapes, and one Palm Pilot. From the church, officials only took one item -- a digital voice recorder.
Hogge was arrested on Monday and charged with eight counts of possession and distribution of child pornography. According to his arrest warrants, Hogge posted or tweeted the eight images on his Twitter page between December 2015 and February 2016.
News 3 has reached out to the Hogge family multiple times for a comment on the allegations. They have not responded.
