PORTSMOUTH, Va. – The search for the Chesapeake lottery winner is over. J.B. Sim, a resident of Portsmouth, had the winning numbers to the Cash4Life top prize, winning him over $7 million dollars.
The May 23 numbers were 4-19-26-33-58 and the Cash Ball was 2.
The man’s brother informed him of his win.
Sim plans to split the money among his family members. His sister encouraged him to play. Sim stated, “She was the brains behind it.”
The ticket was purchased at Quest, 1256 George Washington Highway in Chesapeake. The store will receive a bonus of $50,000 for selling the winning ticket.
Cash4Life is part of the Virginia Lottery. The odds of winning are 1 in 21.8 million.
