An Elizabeth City boy’s 5th birthday party on May 29 ended up with a visit from the police!
But it wasn’t because the party was too rowdy — Owen Howell had a police-themed birthday party and one of Elizabeth City’s finest showed up to help him celebrate!
Elizabeth City Police Officer Jamie LaCombe showed up in his police cruiser on his own time and stayed for the whole party. He showed Owen the inside of his cruiser and how the sirens and lights work.
Owen’s grandmother shared pictures with News 3 and says Owen was so excited!
