CHESAPEAKE, Va. - Police are looking for a man who shot a person while riding on a moped style bike.
Officers responded to the 1000 block of Mathews Drive for a report of a shooting.
Police say the suspect shot at a group of people on the street, striking the man in the leg.
The suspect got off of the moped and ran away. His helmet was found up the street from the scene.
Medics took the victim to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
There is no suspect information at this time, but Chesapeake Police Spokesperson Leo Kosinski says authorities assume the suspect is a man.
