VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Celebrating 30 years of science, fun, and education, the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center is offering guests discounts on admission and special events during its birthday week.
From June 11 until June 17 there will be a 30% discount on all ticket sales, including The Adventure Park at the Virginia Aquarium. There will also be specials at the Aquarium’s cafe and stores. Events include animal feedings, Meet the Keeper, and Mascot Mania, which will feature mascots from around the region.
The Virginia Aquarium opened in 1986 and sees 625,000 guests each year. In addition to these visitors, the Aquarium also educates over 50,000 students with marine science activities.
