Jahsean Curry was charged with Murder and Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony.
HAMPTON, Va. – An 18-year-old Hampton man has been arrested and charged for the murder of 19-year-old Jonathan Powers.
Hampton Police say Jahsean Curry, 18, has been charged with one count of Murder and one count of Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony.
Powers was found suffering from a gunshot wound near the road in the 800 block of North King Street around 8:45 p.m. Wednesday night.
He was transported to a local hospital where he died as a result of his injuries just before 1:30 a.m. Thursday.
Curry remains in custody at the Hampton City Jail.
