ISLE OF WIGHT COUNTY, Va. – A truck loaded with cylinders containing commercial gases used in welding operations overturned Tuesday afternoon.
The call came in at 2:21 p.m.
Gas cylinders loaded onto the truck were knocked loose and blocked Walters Highway.
The 26700 block of Walters Highway was shut down.
The driver of the truck has been taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. The extent of his injuries are unknown.
Isle of Wight deputies are investigating the cause of the crash.
