NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk Bomb Squad was on scene in the 9600 block of 1st View Street on Wednesday morning after reports of a suspicious package.
The shopping center was evacuated for precautionary measures and a robot was sent to assess the package.
The package turned out to be a backpack full of clothing on the ground in front of the post office.
Around 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Norfolk Police deemed the area all clear.
