Man charged with second degree murder in death of Norfolk woman

NORFOLK, Va. – Police have arrested a man in connection with the death of 62-year-old Nancy Green.

On June 10, Norfolk Police were told 50-year-old Clinton Davis possibly harmed someone known to him. Detectives were able to find a listing for Green, who is known to Davis.

Just after 2 a.m. on June 10, police conducted a welfare check to a home in the 900 block of Grayson Street to check on Green’s well-being.

Green was found unresponsive inside of the home. Although medics were at the scene, Green was pronounced dead on arrival.

Davis was taken into police custody on June 10. He has been charged with one count of second degree murder in relation to Green’s death.

Davis is currently being held without bond in the Norfolk City Jail.
