VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Right now many in the Ocean View community are wondering why the FBI was executing a search warrant at Judy Boone Realty.
Witnesses say documents, records and computers were taken from the rental office by FBI agents on Wednesday.
The FBI confirms to News 3 they executed a search warrant inside of the office, but refused to explain what they were looking for.
Judy Boone is a well know realtor in the Ocean View community.
Suheil Lopez has lived next to the office for 5 years and said she was shocked.
"She has a lot of houses for rent and for sale all over," Lopez said, "living here for almost 5 years now and never seen anything like that before."
We contacted Judy Boone Thursday, who directed us to her attorney's.
Attorney Jon Babineau said he represents Ronnie Boone Senior, Judy's husband.
Babineau said this is an ongoing investigation and said records were removed from the office. He says no one has been arrested and no criminal complaints have been filed.
Judy just won a People Taking Action Award from WTKR for the good work that she's done for the community after she raised over $20,000 for fire victims.
Babineau said it's too premature to make any comments about the FBI's search warrant.
Judy told News 3 The office is open to the public but not open to reporters.
