Local swimmer to compete in the U.S. Olympic Trials

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – A local swimmer has qualified to compete in the U.S. Olympic Team trials.

16-year-old, Callie Dickinson, is representing South Hampton Roads as she’s among the top 1% of swimmers in the U.S.

She’s in the same category as Olympians such as Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte!

It’s Dickinson’s first trip to the Olympic Trials and she will be competing in the 200-meter backstroke, 100-meter butterfly, 400-meter individual medley, and the 100-meter backstroke.

Dickinson is a TIDE Swimming athlete with Head Coach, Josh Fulton, and the two will be at the trials June 26-July 3.
