Wednesday’s First Warning Forecast: An unsettled stretch ahead

Meteorologist Myles Henderson’s First Warning Forecast

Nice today, more storms later this week… This morning’s fog has lifted.  Expect partly cloudy skies today with highs in the mid 80s. A few isolated showers/storms are possible as yesterday’s cold front lingers off of the NC coast.

Highs will return to the mid 80s on Thursday with partly cloudy skies. Rain and storm chances will go up slightly as the stalled front to our south slides north. We will see a rather unsettled stretch of weather for the end of the week and weekend as a stationary front slowly drifts over the Mid-Atlantic. Expect a mix of sun and clouds with scattered showers and storms possible for Friday, the weekend, and Monday. Every day will not be a complete wash out but plan for scattered showers and storms to mix in.

Today: Partly Cloudy, Isolated Showers/Storms(20%). Highs in the mid 80s. Winds: W/N/E 5-10

Tonight: Partly Cloudy, Isolated Showers/Storms(20%). Lows near 70. Winds: E 5-10

Tomorrow: Partly Cloudy, Scattered Showers/Storms(30%). Highs in the mid 80s. Winds: E/SE 5-10
