VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Rain or shine, Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story will be celebrating their 100th anniversary this July 4th.
The day's events include a Salute to the Nation ceremony honoring 100 years of excellence. Guest speaker for the Salute to the Nation Ceremony is Major Gen. Anthony C. Funkhouser, Commanding General, Center for Initial Military Training. Also participating will be Mayor William D. Sessoms, Jr., City of Virginia Beach, and Capt. Frank E. Hughlett, commander, JEBLCFS.
Following the ceremony, the LT Dan Band will perform a concert for attendees.
