PORTSMOUTH, Va. – Police are investigating after a man was shot Tuesday night.
Officers were called to the 1100 block of Cavalier Blvd. shortly after 9:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers located a 34-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the lower back.
Medics responded and transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment of what police believe to be non life threatening injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing.
