James City County, Va.- James City County and City of Williamsburg were called to a two-story townhouse Saturday morning on the 300 block of Archers Mead in Kingsmill.
Fire crews arrived to the scene at 3:05 a.m. and found a townhouse filled with smoke on the second floor. The fire was put under control around 4:23 a.m. , but fire crews remained on the scene for hours removing debris and checking for any other damage to the townhouse and surrounding areas. No other homes were damaged in this fire.
The cause of the fire was due to the disposing of smoking materials.
No injuries were reported in this fire and the occupants have returned to the homes.
