Sunday’s First Warning Forecast: A slight chance for an afternoon shower or storm

Meteorologist April Loveland’s First Warning Forecast

Continuing to track a line of showers and storms overnight on First Warning Radar. Some of the rain could be heavy at times and gusty winds are possible too. Showers will continue to move eastward with drier conditions by Sunday morning. Lows tonight in the low to mid 70s. A slight chance for a few scattered showers and storms Sunday, with highs in the upper 80s.

Temperatures will warm up into the 90s once again on Monday. We could see heat index values in the triple digits. A slight chance for an afternoon shower or storm. Tuesday will be another hot day with a better chance for afternoon showers and storms.

Overnight: Showers and storms. Chances diminish late after we lose the heat of the day. Winds SW 5-15 mph.

Sunday: Mostly dry. A slight chance for an afternoon shower or storm (30%). Highs in the upper 80s. Winds SW 5-15 mph.

Sunday night: Slight chance for a shower or storm (20%). Lows in the low to mid 70s. Winds SW 5-10 mph.
