NORFOLK, Va. - According to Police, one person is in custody after a call about a person with a weapon came in Tuesday night.
Just before 10:40 p.m. police responded to the 300 block of W 29th street.
Once police arrived to the scene, a man fitting the description given ran from police.
After a brief foot pursuit, the suspect fired a single round. Police were able to get the suspect in custody without a major incident.
No officers, or the suspect were injured, and police say they did not fire their guns during the incident.
