Meteorologist April Loveland’s First Warning Forecast

Comfortable night in store…followed by heat and humidity to end the workweek. The dew points have actually been dropping throughout the day, and you’ve probably noticed it feels a little more comfortable to be outside. Well, enjoy the comfortable night, because Friday will be a different story. Tonight, expect clear to partly cloudy skies with lows in the lower 70s.

Then, get ready for the heat and humidity! On Friday, under mostly sunny skies, high temperatures will climb into the lower 90s. By Saturday and Sunday, we’ll see highs in the mid 90s. However, with dew points in the mid 70s, we’re expecting heat index values in the triple digits this weekend, so take your precautions. An isolated shower or storm is possible this weekend. The extreme heat will continue into Monday with highs in the mid 90s.

Tonight: A Few Clouds. Low temperatures in the low 70s. Patchy fog possible. Winds: SE/SW 5-10 mph.

Tomorrow: Some patchy fog possible to start the day. Mostly sunny and hot. High temperatures in the low 90s. Winds: SW 5-10 mph.
