First Warning Forecast: Warm and humid overnight, dangerous heat on tap

The heat is on…The First Warning Storm Team is tracking triple digit heat index values for the weekend.

By Saturday and Sunday, we’ll see highs in the mid 90s. However, with dew points in the mid 70s, we’re expecting heat index values in the triple digits this weekend! An isolated shower or storm is possible this weekend. The extreme heat will continue into Monday with highs in the mid 90s. We’ll see highs in the lower 90s by midweek with a chance of showers and storms.

Friday night: A Few Clouds. Warm. Low temperatures in the mid 70s. Winds: SW 5-10 mph.

Saturday: Sun and Clouds. Hot and Humid. Slight chance for an afternoon pop-up shower or storm (20%) Otherwise dry. High temperatures in the mid and upper 90s. Winds: SW 5-10 mph.
