SUFFOLK, Va. - Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Family Dollar in the 800 block of West Constance Road.
Just before 10 p.m. Thursday night, a black male subject entered the business wearing a white covering over his face, showed a handgun, and demanded money.
The subject is believed to be in his 50s and is short in stature.
He fled the scene on foot after the incident in the direction of West Washington Street.
According to police, there were no injuries.
