PORTSMOUTH, Va. - Portsmouth Police are investigating the armed robbery of a gas station late Monday night.
The Valero gas station at 1544 High Street was robbed just before 10:45 p.m.
Police say a man armed with a handgun entered the store and demanded money from an employee. The employee complied and the suspect fled from the business.
No injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a black male standing approximately 5'11” – 6’ tall and weighing 150-160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie.
