VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – A FedEx truck ran into a utility pole Tuesday and the accident is causing power outages for thousands, according to a Dominion Power official.
The incident happened in the intersection of London Bridge Road and Drakes Mill Road around 2:30 p.m.
Of the nearly 2,000 users without power, all but 200 should have their power back by 4:15 p.m., the official said.
The 200 left without power will have to wait for the pole to be put back up which could take anywhere from 8-10 hours.
