HAMPTON, Va.- Police are investigating a shooting that left one person injured Thursday night.
Dispatch received a call at 9:17 p.m. about a gunshot victim who arrived at the Veterans Affairs Hospital on the 100 block of Emancipation Drive.
Police discovered that the shooting actually took place on the 3000 block of Shell Road.
The victim is a 24 year-old male who was driven to the hospital by a friend.
He is being treated for non-life threatening injuries at this time.
