Multi-vehicle crash in Suffolk sends four adults to the hospital

SUFFOLK, Va. — Suffolk officials are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that happened in the 4800 block of Pruden Boulevard/Route 460.

The crash happened just before 5:30 p.m Saturday afternoon near the intersection with Old Myrtle Road.

A total of five cars were involved, with two of them flipping and rolling over on the highway.

Medics were there to treat the passengers and then transported four adults to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The roadway was completely shut down but has since re-opened.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
