Portsmouth shooting scene
PORTSMOUTH, Va. - Police are investigating after a double shooting Saturday evening in a parking lot off Victory Boulevard.
According to police, a man and a woman were found with gunshot wounds in the parking lot of Food Lion at 2012 Victory Blvd. just after 9 p.m.
When authorities they found the woman suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso, and the man with a gunshot to the leg.
The woman was transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries, while the man has non-life threatening injuries.
