VIRGINIA BEACH, Va – Republican Congressman Scott Rigell, who represents Virginia’s 2nd Congressional District, has endorsed Libertarian Gary Johnson for president over Donald Trump.
Rigell, who is retiring at the end of his current term, confirmed the news in an interview with the New York Times.
“I’ve always said I will not vote for Donald Trump and I will not vote for Hillary Clinton. I’m going to vote for the Libertarian candidate,” Rigell told the New York Times.
Earlier this month, Rigell wrote on Facebook that Trump wasn’t worth of the title “Mr. President.”
