NEWPORT NEWS, Va., – A 32-year-old man has been arrested after reportedly stabbing another man several times on Thursday night.
Police say officers were dispatched to the 15900 block of Warwick Boulevard just after 11 p.m. in reference to the stabbing.
When they arrived, they found the 36-year-old victim suffering from multiple stab wounds to the back. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
After speaking with several witnesses, officers identified 32-year-old Scott Dudley as the suspect.
The witnesses told police that the victim and his friend returned from a bar and upon entering the room, Dudley began stabbing the victim.
Dudley was found walking down Warwick Boulevard and he was detained. He has been arrested and charged with Malicious Wounding.
