WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - A local baker is banking $10,000 after winning Food Network's show 'Cake Wars.'
Alice Cooke owns CakeAlicious in New Town, a bakery she's been building up since 2002.
Her focus is on baking and decorating cakes for her customers for special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries and especially weddings.
Cooke's episode of 'Cake Wars' aired August 8th.
She beat out three other professional cake designers with a pink champagne cake shaped like the Eiffel Tower and Parisian shops to emulate the classic childhood book, Madeline.
