VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Eight people were injured on Friday after an Hampton Roads Transit bus accident.

The incident occurred in the 2700 block of Princess Anne Rd., according to police

A vehicle was turning off Princess Anne Road into a driveway and when another vehicle behind it slowed down, it caused a third vehicle to swerve.

The bus had to also swerve out of the way to avoid hitting that car, which then caused the bus to strike another vehicle.

According to HRT, the bus ended up in the front yard of a house but did not hit the house.

Police say there are no charges pending at this point.
