HAMPTON, Va. – Police are investigating a shooting that happened in the 200 block of Geddy Drive early Friday morning.
Police received a complaint of shots fired in the area at 3:41 a.m.
When officers arrived, they found a 20-year-old man suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound inside of a house. The victim was taken to a hospital and is expected to be okay.
A preliminary investigation shows that an unknown suspect was shooting towards the house, hitting the man who was inside.
There were no other reported injuries.
The motive and circumstances of the shooting are under investigation.
Police do not have any suspect information.
