PORTSMOUTH, Va. – Police are investigating after two people were shot Saturday morning.
Around 3:35 a.m., police and medics were called to the 100 block of Lexington Drive for a male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
As officers were responding, a second call was received requesting medical assistance for a female with an apparent gunshot wound in the same area.
When officers arrived, they located a man and a 13-year-old girl, each with a gunshot wound to the leg.
Medics took the victims to a hospital for treatment. Both victims are expected to recover from their injuries.
Detectives do not have a motive or suspect information.
