NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk Police and U.S. Marshals worked together to find and arrest the suspect in a fatal shooting.

Malcolm Jamal Robinson, 25, was arrested Monday for a shooting that happened on Greenleaf Drive.

Shortly before 4:30 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to the 1800 block of Greenleaf Drive after a report of shots fired.

Police located 43-year-old George Ellison lying outside suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Ellison was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Robinson has been charged with second degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. He is currently being held in Norfolk City Jail without bond.
