VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Walter the dog, rescued from a shelter devastated by floodwaters in Louisiana, made certain he would find a good home during a live broadcast on News 3 This Morning.
A rambunctious mix, Walter is one of 15 dogs that the Virginia Beach SPCA has taken in from Louisiana.
During a live interview from the SPCA, Walter literally climbed up and over anchor Todd Corillo. But it was when Sarah McLachlan’s song “Angel” started playing that Walter turned to the camera and made his plea:
The best news? The Virginia Beach SPCA tells News 3 Walter was adopted shortly after they opened Thursday afternoon.
