VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Virginia Beach Police are investigating after a man was found shot to death inside a nightclub early Saturday morning.
Police were called to Club Embassy, located at 5476 Virginia Beach Blvd., at 1:35 a.m. on Saturday, August 27, for a report of a gunshot wound.
When officers arrived, they found a man dead inside the club from an apparent gunshot wound. He has been identified as 34-year-old Demetrius Darnell McCloud of Norfolk.
The event was a birthday celebration hosted by rapper Young Jeezy.
Police have not released any information about a suspect or motive in this case, which is being investigated by the Virginia Beach Police Homicide Unit.
