VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Police are investigating a single vehicle crash that is closing northbound lanes of General Booth Blvd. at Oceana Blvd.
The 25-year-old female driver was traveling northbound on General Booth Blvd. when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree in the center median.
The driver was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
There were no other occupants in the vehicle and the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Traffic on the closed lanes is being re-routed onto Prosperity road.
