Man shot to death near Downtown Norfolk identified

NORFOLK, Va. - Norfolk Police are investigating after a man was found shot to death near the 600 block of Brambleton Avenue late Monday night.

Police were called to the scene after neighbors heard gunshots just after 11:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they found a man shot outside of the apartments on the corner of Lincoln Street.

Medics pronounced him dead at the scene. He has been identified as 26-year-old Lytiek J. Jackson.

Investigators say there is no information about a suspected shooter at this time.
