TANGIER ISLAND, Va. – The Chesapeake Bay Foundationtweeted on Tuesday that a shark was spotted in the water.
A waterman got a few pictures of the shark that was seen in the Tangier Sound.
According to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation some of the pictures were taken on September 10.
The shark appears to have swam right up the the boat.
It’s not clear exactly what type of shark it was.
