NORFOLK, Va. – U.S. Custom and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Field Operations officers at the Port of Norfolk seized stolen vehicles and automobile parts on September 13.
The parts were destined to Jordan and were valued at approximately $85,000.
During a random export examination of a shipping container that arrived from Chicago, CBP officers found half-cut vehicles in very good condition and variety of auto parts.
CBP officers investigated the parts and found them to be stolen from Illinois and Indiana.
Overall, 11 partial vehicles were confirmed stolen and they were seized by CBP officers.
Virginia State Police will receive the stolen parts from CBP officers.
